Environmental Measurement

We manufacture and operate specialized measuring stations for recording precipitation, water level, wind or snow on infrastructure or solar-powered cameras for monitoring natural hazard processes.

For autonomous pluviometers we use unheated rocker pluviometers which can only measure the liquid precipitation. For stations with external energy supply (mains access), heated pluviometers can also be used.

For estimating the flow, level measurements are a simple and cost-effective option. We use pressure level probes to measure the discharge level.

For road services or building maintenance, it is important to be informed about new snowfall in good time. With these small stations we measure the snow depth and calculate the new snowfall for a defined period of time.

We use robust webcams to monitor glaciers and other processes in the high mountains. The systems function fully autonomously with a solar power supply. Several images per day are recorded and transmitted.
