Natural hazards Alerting

Event detection

The detection of avalanches, debris flows or rockfalls is carried out by a measuring system which is placed in the area of the fall path in such a way that the event can be identified as clearly as possible with a sufficiently long warning time. To identify an event, the signals from various sensors are continuously recorded and evaluated.

Blocking of the traffic routes

In the event of an event detection, an alarm is immediately transmitted to the signalling system. Immediately after receiving an alarm message, the signalling system triggers the corresponding alarm pattern.

Alerting of emergency services

Immediately after each alarm is triggered, the security officers are automatically notified of the security officers either by phone call, SMS, pager or e-mail.
